It's only been a few days. I'm sure it's a huge culture shock at the moment, but allow some time to get used to your surroundings and make some friends and you'll be havin' a blast in no time!

And don't worry about the smell. You'll become accustomed to it and you won't even know it's there.

Of course, when you come home you'll smell like that and everyone will avoid you...

But let's not worry aboot that yet.

i hope things are going better for you!

homesickness is tricky business...but soon all that is unfamiliar will become familiar and you'll find some comfort.
nothing looks good when you're hungry and tired.

take care love!

I just came home from Taiwan last week. I was suppose to stay until july, but I decided an earlier return is best. The six months I spent being a foreign exchange student was the time of my life. But, there are cons. I understand you may not be feeling so positive right now. It's just because there are many taiwanese people who are arrogant, racial, and not very mature. If you haven't run into these problems yet, great. If you do, remember Taiwan is pretty much western culture flipped upside down.
